I ordered a knee brace off the internet and since then every ad I see on YouTube or Amazon or the puzzle game I play on my phone is about canes, knee braces, knee surgery, and other ways to fix a knee.
(My knee is better today, though it still hurts.)

I would strongly recommend adblockers. ublock origin is easiest, stronger solutions like a network-wide filter exist too.
Switch to using your adblock-ified browser for everything, if you were using youtube or amazon through their apps. Browsers with adblock can do everything.
I hope your knee gets better and you never have to see an ad again.

Strongly seconding adblockers. Also, don't use Chrome; but whatever browser you use, disable every setting that won't stop it from working.
