I took the kids back up the mountain and now I am going to make a grilled cheese sandwich and read for a while.
Terrible news, though -- the library does not reopen until January 3. I am going to run out of books.

Any chance you can check out ebooks to tide you over until the library is open again?
I should check out my library's ebooks again. Last time I checked, there was no way to sort the search, so that you basically had to page through hundreds of pages and hope some title looked interesting. So it was functionally useless. But that was several years ago, and things may have changed!
