Over on Tumblr, which is my favorite social media site, they have a hashtag Good News. I highly recommend reading it every morning. It's all the things that are going right in the world -- Indonesia is preserving 400 million acres of forestland; the Thames, declared a dead river in 1950, has begin to recover; the new cure for HIV has cured five people now. An mRNA vaccine for malignant melanoma seems to be working.
All this, and it looks like Scott Colom might win in Mississippi too.
