Apparently Elon Musk is going to make an AI Odyssey which is "historically accurate," which is hilarious in and of itself. But the MAGA bootlickers cheering him on just crack me up.

Disclaimer: I have not seen the Nolan movie which has the Right pitching tantrums. For all I know, it is actually awful. But the belief held by the Right that the classical world was composed of 100% white people cracks me up. It's no use arguing, though. The Right cannot learn. It's kind of the entire basis of their worldview, not learning things.

It's getting very good reviews and is making a ton of money. My youngest refuses to see it because the costumes and ships are all wrong. (Zie doesn't care about the actors. This anger about getting Greek clothing wrong has been around for about two years now and it is easy to "rage bait" hir by just saying the word "toga.") --N&M

Nolan's Odyssey is a sad travesty, for entirely different reasons than those advanced by the usual thugs.
