Surviving in the Trump Era

This is good advice for those of us who are feeling overwhelmed and hopeless while Trump attacks our families, destroys democracy, and does his best to destroy the world:

I'm just going to (re)post this whenever I need to remind myself. Maybe it'll help you too? 1. Focus on things in your control & take ONE action there. 2. Limit your inputs. You can't help if you're paralyzed.

Still struggling. Can’t seem to find the right thing to do with the limited tools I have. Been trying to speak up as much as I can in spaces that seem annoyingly silent…
I can’t believe I read blogs where they are planning cruises and other such summer things… are we living in the same country?? I’m so effing mad(and scared)

It is hard to both protect yourself and your mental health *and* find effective ways to resist. There's a protest here today, for example, but I'm not going, mainly because too many people depend on me so I can't risk arrest. And yes, people acting like it's just another day in paradise, or worse, like Trump's actions are marvelous...UGH.
