I am pre-approved for a house loan. Now all we gotta do is find one in Fayetteville in our price range.

Wow! That's a big change! But I guess you don't need to walk to work once you're retired(!) All these academic bloggers retiring... I still have to put kid #2 through college...

I'm helping with my kid with grad school, but he got an assistantship, so it's just emergencies (like a broken tooth). We looked at renting up there, but holy hell the rents are high.
