I want a little rubber stamp that says Put The Period Inside The Quotation Mark.
Also, one that says, What noun does this pronoun refer back to?
And one that says, Use a colon here, NOT a semi-colon.
(Why, yes, I am grading essays. How can you tell?)

I need ones that say "Be specific!" "What does this mean?" and "Explicate!"
Has anyone used "alot" yet? That's the one that really gets my panties in a twist...and I'm not even an academic.
Nice Korean spam, BTW.
Ooo, I want What does this mean!
I want yours, and one about count nouns. For some reason, an "amount of dogs" really bothers me. :(
Clearly, I need to get a life.
The art of putting the period inside the quotation mark is tough to get across to anyone who isn't familiar with the Chicago Manual. I was fortunate to have lived inside this book for a few years. I quietly "fix" the documents that cross my desk and say nothing. I feel better. Nobody else notices.

I want those too! I'd stamp them all over our local "newspaper" and return copies to their editorial offices every day.
