Lately, whenever I eat meat, I feel queasy and my stomach hurts.
Am I going to have to become a vegetarian? Or even...a vegan?
I mean, better for the planet, probably, but
(This post is brought to you by the chicken sandwich I ate this morning which made me sick all day and the peanut butter I ate this evening which made me feel 110% better.)

This probably isn’t it, since you’re experiencing the reaction after eating chicken as well as red meat, but have you been bitten by a tick recently? Alpha-gal syndrome can be transmitted by tick bites from the Lone Star tick, which lives in most of the Southeast US.
Here’s a link to the CDC’s info on it, just in case: https://www.cdc.gov/ticks/alpha-gal/index.html
I've been wondering about Alpha-gal syndrome, but I haven't had a tick in three or four years, at least as far as I know.
I sure do have a lot of those symptoms, though, and I drink milk in my coffee, which I had right before the chicken sandwich. Hm.
