The kid's coming back this weekend.
How weird will that be? She's been gone since May. Mid-May. Visiting the grandparents. In Florida right now, living on the beach with her favorite aunt and uncle and her grandmother. She loves the beach, apparently, and threatens never to come home. They took her to Disneyworld. She loved Disneyworld. She actually spoke to me on the phone afterwards (she has been too busy at the beach to speak to me otherwise). Well, I might have loved it at eight myself.
It'll be odd to have a child again. I'm looking forward to it.

Well it's about time, don't you think? I can't wait to hear all about her trip to the beach and her trip to disney world and all the things she has done and seen. When she gets home, have her put some of it in a journal. It will be great to look back in a few years through her child eyes. I bet Mr. Delagar is jumping up and down. Yeah, she is coming home.
THE KID THE KID! YAY!
Hey you know I ain't seen that kid in quick bit; you's gonna have let me see that kid. yups and hear about her summer fun.
So, now we can plan the picnic? Woohoo!
Yes the picnic and I found another wondeful spot, just north of Russellville on highway 7 about 60 miles north, it's great.
