Support Your Local Indie SF Press

I know I've mentioned this before, but Crossed Genres is now having an official fund-raising drive. Buy the anthology and get prizes! It's not even a ton of money, either. Like $13 bucks, as I recall. Even in these financially sucky times, most of us can scrape that together.

And! If you buy it? You win a chance to maybe get a free copy donated to your library. How cool is that?

And! You help keep an indie SF magazine in business! One that publishes lots & lots of women writers, may I add?

Contribute if you can, and spread the word.

We should probably talk about that more, shouldn't we? In our first year 62% of the fiction we published was written by women, and 7 of our 12 covers were illustrated by women. That's probably something people would like to know. Thanks for mentioning it!

You absolutely should mention it! It's one of the first things I noticed about Crossed Genres. Hey, cool, I said. Look how many women they're publishing. Especially after that editorial published by Asimov's a while back, giving all the reasons women don't get published in SF, none of which happened to be that editors tend not to publish women writers, I notice details like that.
