Not sure I get it. I typed in "Thomas Hardy." A wide blank circle appeared around him, with Hardy the sun of a chaotic distant solar system, and only John Milton nearby. To see what would happen, I then clicked on Milton, and Hardy moved far from that madding crowd indeed to somewhere in the remote south 40.

So according to this, someone who loves Hardy should also love Milton but perhaps no one else. If you love Milton first though, you may never read Hardy.

No matter. Thomas Hardy is mine.
