This was a person asking how often people get headaches, and I was surprised to see that some people get them never or maybe once a year.
I can't remember a time when I did not have a headache. I used to get brutal migraines once or twice a week; now I usually just have low-grade headaches non-stop (like on the pain scale, they're around two), with every week or so a brutal headache (seven to eight on the pain scale). Migraines are only once or twice a year now.
Is this not normal? Do any of you never have headaches?
What the fuck is that like?

I get headaches, but definitely not a constant thing. Mine are hormonal or brought on by the weather-- I often get them right before it rains and as soon as it starts raining they go away. I assume there's something wrong with my sinuses, but haven't been able to get myself to even do step one of irrigation. (Something Dr. Google recommends prior to seeing an MD about pressure headaches.) I guess technically I did step one if step one is buying the thing, and I did step two which is filling it up with purified water and the included salt packet. It was the after that part where I failed. (Migraines I get much less frequently now that I know to avoid strobe effects, which is my main trigger.) I also have some stretching exercises from Hinge Health that help with stress headaches brought on by tight muscles. And DH massaging my neck and shoulder areas also helps.
Have you seen a doctor?
Heating pads sometimes help mine a little.
I rarely get headaches--when I do, it's either because I am sick (like flu, not just a cold) or the occasional tension headache. I'm just getting over a bacterial sinus infection, but no headache even from that.
Wish that was me!
I think there was like a month in the last year when I didn't have a headache. By which I mean 30 days, not 30 days in a row.
I'd kill for even one day without a headache
It's the literally $2000 of drugs a month that got me even to this point
As you guessed, it's wonderful to not have a headache. I've always felt I've had an above-average number of headaches, though it's just a few each month. (Causes - dehydration, this one kind of pollen, hunger, maybe reading too much, and who knows what else.) (I feel like different people have different symptoms of choice, and headaches have always been mine. I used to also get sore throats a lot. Now I got hot flashes a lot.)
However the intensity of my headaches seems below average. Mostly they are just a 2-3 out of 10 on a pain scale, though I've had a few that make me go into a fetal position in a dark room. I've had some that are cute little mini migraines (I don't like the sun or tight necks, but can still function okay) but I've heard about real ones, and no. Most of them are a pounding on one or both temples.
A huge advantage for me is that ibuprofen works on my headaches, quickly if I take 2 right away, eventually if not. Even aspirin worked more than half the time back when that was my only known alternative.
Unfortunately, this is definitely one of those things that's often hard to diagnose. I'm with nicoleandmaggie and recommend at least trying to see a doctor about them, just in case. One friend figured out hers were from certain sugar substitutes, so that was handy.
You have my condolences. All pain sucks, and continuous pain is the worst. :-(
I've been on various sorts of drugs -- the only two that really work are (1) Aleve, but at massive doses that would eventually kill my kidneys and (2) hydrocodone, which would eventually make me a junkie. So I'm just suffering.
I've seen lots of doctors, including neurologists. It may be something hormonal with me, because they went away when I was pregnant, and got a lot better after menopause. We tried all sorts of elimination diets, too. Oats make them worse, as do certain smells, but so far nothing makes them go away entirely. Except being pregnant, which is kind of an expensive cure, even if I could still do it. :D
