I take it that the slogan at the very end means that they were working for the Army, Right?
Huh. Maybe?
Well, I'm relieved to see that auto-correct resisted his describing a wife as a "possession." It's not always so feminist.
And it's kinda fun to imagine all the scenarios in which waking a wife and/or kids would make for a far, far worse start to the day than speeding and getting a ticket (colicky baby/sick kid of any age who finally fell asleep, allowing mother to do same; teenagers; any scenario in which anybody really needed a few more minutes/hours of sleep far more than narcissistic husband/daddy needs to be assured one more time that he is loved).
But wow. Just, wow.
