Arkansas, yeah

Went by the liquor store for my bottle of Black Strap Rum, so I could get through grading these fucking exams.  

This sign was posted on the door:

All Minors Must Be Accompanied by Parent or Spouse

Well, yeah, okay, then.

I think it's hilarious how many people think they look younger than they are, and get such a thrill out of being carded at stores where alcohol is sold. I think most people in their 40-60s imagine they look a lot younger than they are. (They don't.)

Here's the secret. It isn't that the teenager behind the counter has no idea how to distinguish a person too young to buy liquor from a person well over the age limit. It's that they card EVERYONE now, even minors that come in with their spouses.
