Worldview

Heh. No surprise here -- I'm a post-modernist.

My score for fundamentalism was 0% though. That makes me very happy.

I, too, am post-modernists and zero on fundalmentalists. Go figure! My worldview has changed a bit over the last year, I think it is because I look at literature differently. I see the subtext and from that I am changing. Re-reading Oliver Twist, I now look at the characters and who they represent and wonder why it had to be that way and even do the same in postmodern literature. So, I guess I am still, at my ripe old age, changing or my world view is. The boogey man can no longer just be the antagonist in the story, he or she must represent something and I search for those represented and ponder why. All of this ponderering leads to research and through research, I find the truth and it is that truth that changes my world view. My very fundalmentalist son told me last night, "Mom you're not the same as you were when I was a kid." I said, "Nope, I now know better." Not that I was ever a fundalmentalist. I always searched for the truth in the Bible. It is that I am now not afraid to point out the truth and that comes from gaining knowledge and having confidence. Knowledge gives us the truth and the truth does set us free.
