Then when he'd saved enough money, he opened the bakery that was the family business for the next five generations.delagarhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18197857250240640822noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8340684.post-29380167536412721362021-11-01T13:25:17.227-04:002021-11-01T13:25:17.227-04:00My mother's father's father (great-grandpa...My mother's father's father (great-grandpa) ran an egg business in Cleveland, selling them first off a pushcart and then wholesale. Then, a failed traveling salesman, not sure what wife did. On the other side, a professional landscaper/horticulturist married to a housewife also dealing with six kids, and a seamstress married to a man involved in the livery business (depending on who's talking/guessing, anywhere from a stable hand to a carriage maker). Sort of surprised that I actually know all this, because some of it was not told to me until a year ago.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8340684.post-46105392528784907272021-10-31T11:15:26.125-04:002021-10-31T11:15:26.125-04:00It's odd, but I also know almost nothing about...It's odd, but I also know almost nothing about the dude lines.

Like I only know my maternal grandfather's name because it's in my grandmother's obituary.delagarhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18197857250240640822noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8340684.post-35682063603077174742021-10-31T11:05:17.120-04:002021-10-31T11:05:17.120-04:00I know a lot about the matrilineal line (great gra...I know a lot about the matrilineal line (great grandmother was a divorcee, was a teacher/principal) but once there's a dude, I've got no idea.
