(Still, I admit to being impatient by the third name change of a friend in grad school.)

And I applaud those who change their name usage because their parents gave them stupid names (me, for example, naturally).

I am just a mass of inconsistency!

I blame the patriarchy!Bardiachttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11846065504793800266noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8340684.post-53730414369808714842016-09-07T08:39:23.742-04:002016-09-07T08:39:23.742-04:00^^Probably the best solution.^^Probably the best solution.delagarhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18197857250240640822noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8340684.post-86912418004076560902016-09-06T21:30:39.843-04:002016-09-06T21:30:39.843-04:00I get over this problem by just not remembering an...I get over this problem by just not remembering anybody's name.nicoleandmaggiehttp://nicoleandmaggie.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8340684.post-15685725286158834632016-09-06T18:32:13.703-04:002016-09-06T18:32:13.703-04:00I do like American Gods! Now, I kind of wish I'd kept my name. The hyphenated thing is weird to enough people that I always feel like I'm apologizing for it. Or they hear my name and think that it's Greek or something. (It's not!)

My sister has been married three times, and each time she changed her name. But this last, third, marriage, she decided to add her maiden name back in. She's not hyphenated, just has three names.

Also, I started reading American Gods this weekend. Is this a book you like? I think I remember you saying something about it at some point. I'm about 100 pages in and am intrigued. :) Fie upon this quiet life!https://www.blogger.com/profile/12047096700049201873noreply@blogger.com
